This 5.5x10” 16 stave maple snare has a hand rubbed oil finish and is fitted with Gretsch style lugs, 2.3 mm triple flange hoops, and an Inde throw off and butt plate. It has our classic bearing edge and Remo coated CS Dot batter head, a Hazy Ambassador and Puresound Blaster snare wires. This drum is focused and throaty sounding and cuts well with the wires on and has a great timbale sound with the wires off. Best tuned high, this drum has a lot of head room thanks to the thickness of the shell.
