This 6x12” 16 stave maple and cherry shell has been complimented with a pair of steam bent oak rings. It has a hand rubbed oil finish and is fitted with single point Agile lugs, 2.3mm triple flange hoops, and a DW mag throw off and 3 position butt plate. This drum features our Vintage bearing edge and has a Remo Coated CS Dot batter head and a Hazy Ambassador snare side with Puresound Blaster snare wires. The addition of the steam bent rings allowed us to turn this shell a little thinner than our other stave shells, and that combined with the Vintage bearing edge gives this drum a darker sound that sits well in the mix. It is quite responsive and the 3 position butt plate makes it a versatile auxiliary or main snare.
